Booking & Pricing FAQs
What are your rates?
Our services have a 2-hour minimum booking, with pricing based on the service, event needs, and guest count. You can explore starting rates and service details on our Services page. Holiday pricing may apply for peak dates—reach out anytime for a custom quote.
How far in advance should I book party entertainment?
We typically recommend booking 4–6 weeks out for standard events. For large events or peak holiday dates, it’s best to contact us a few months in advance.
Who will be coming out to paint at my event?
All services are provided by trained, professional artists who represent Mama Mia Party Pros. Our team is carefully selected for both skill and personality, and every artist follows our standards for quality, cleanliness, and guest experience.
Do you require a deposit to book?
Yes. A non-refundable/non-transferable booking retainer and signed contract are required to officially reserve your date and time. This ensures your artist and services are secured for your event.
How does pricing work for your services?
Pricing is based on the service type, event duration, number of artists, and event size. We’re happy to customize recommendations based on your guest count and event flow. Get a quote.
Is gratuity included?
Gratuity is not included but always appreciated. Many clients choose to tip onsite or add gratuity after the event.
When and how do I pay?
For private parties and smaller events, a $100 non-refundable booking retainer per artist is due at the time of booking to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due upon arrival, prior to services beginning.
For large corporate events, a 50% non-refundable booking retainer is required to secure your date and services, with the remaining balance due 7 days prior to event.
We accept Venmo, cash, and credit cards. Please note that credit card payments include a 3% processing fee. Personal checks are not accepted.
Can you accommodate large or corporate events?

Face Painting FAQs
How many kids can a face painter paint per hour?
Our artists typically paint 12 faces per hour, depending on design complexity. Speed-painting options are available for school and large events to keep lines moving efficiently.
Is face painting safe for kids?
Yes. We use professional, cosmetic-grade face paint that is skin-safe and designed specifically for face and body art. Our artists follow clean application practices at every event.
Do you offer full face or quick designs?
We offer both. For birthday parties, we often provide detailed designs, while large events benefit from a curated speed menu that allows more guests to participate.
How do I remove face paint?
Face paint removes easily with warm water and mild soap or a gentle facial cleanser. For stubborn areas, apply a small amount of baby oil or coconut oil, gently wipe, then wash again with soap and water. Professional face paint is non-toxic and designed to be skin-safe and non-staining.
Airbrush & Glitter Tattoos FAQs
How long do airbrush tattoos last?
Airbrush tattoos typically last 3+ with proper care. They are water-resistant and perfect for pool parties, festivals, and high-energy events. Avoid sunscreen on top of design.
Are glitter tattoos waterproof?
Glitter tattoos are water-resistant and hold up well at pool parties and outdoor events. Longevity depends on placement and aftercare, but they are designed to last several days. Best to not put lotion or sunscreen on top.
Do you offer custom airbrush tattoo designs or logos?
Yes. For corporate events and brand activations, we offer custom airbrush tattoo stencils. A one-time $100 setup fee per stencil applies, which includes artwork preparation and stencil creation. Please allow advance notice for custom designs.
How do I remove airbrush tattoos?
Airbrush tattoos can be removed early by applying baby oil, coconut oil, or makeup remover and gently rubbing with a soft cloth. Wash the area with warm water and soap afterward. Airbrush tattoos typically last 2–5 days with normal wear.
Balloon Twisting FAQs
How many balloons can you make per hour?
Our balloon artists can create up to 20 balloon designs per hour, making balloon twisting a great option for large groups and fast-moving lines.
What types of balloon designs do you offer?
We offer a variety of classic balloon animals, hats, swords, flowers, and themed creations. Designs are adjusted based on event size and guest age range.

For outdoor bookings, host provided shade is required. We can provide our own shade for an additional fee - $75 umbrella or $150 Pop-up tent. Setup areas are recommended on cement or blacktop and away from heavy foot traffic. If weather conditions become unsafe, we will request to be moved inside.
Do you travel outside of Orange County?
Yes. Travel fees apply for locations more than 15 miles from 92780:

Can you accommodate large or corporate events?
Absolutely. We work with a trusted team of professional artists and can scale services to support festivals, school carnivals, company events, and brand activations.
Weather, Changes & Policies
What happens if it rains or the weather changes?
We are a rain-or-shine service. Booking retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of weather conditions. For outdoor events, clients are responsible for providing a safe indoor or covered backup setup in case of rain, wind, extreme heat, or other unsafe conditions. We’re happy to work with you to adjust setup when possible.
Can I change my guest count after booking?
Guest counts can usually be adjusted in advance, pending availability. We recommend sharing updates as soon as possible so we can best support your event.
Safety, Products & Policies
Is face painting safe for kids?
Yes. We use professional, cosmetic-grade, non-toxic products that are FDA compliant and safe for skin. All glitters used are cosmetic grade.
Can you paint my baby?
For safety reasons, we do not paint faces on children under the age of three. We’re happy to offer arm designs instead.
Do you carry insurance?
Yes. Mama Mia Party Pros is fully insured. Proof of insurance is available upon request. Endorsement adds can be handled for a $30 additional processing fee.
Do you have a service agreement?
Yes. All bookings include a service agreement outlining policies, expectations, and event requirements. You’re welcome to review it before booking.
